Calvin Klein | Spring Summer 2018 – New York Fashion Week 2017
After presenting his Blade Runner and Peter Savile-inspired SS18 show for his eponymous line, Raf Simons follows up with a more subdued collection for Calvin Klein 205w39nyc, his second runway collection for the label. Once again held at the Calvin Klein offices (hint: the address is in the name of the label), models walked underneath the Sterling Ruby installation.
Plenty of the more notable pieces in the collection come from a new collaboration with Andy Warhol, using the artist’s penchant for prints on denim jackets, shirts and trousers. A strong Western influence still shines through in snap-button satin shirts and cowboy boots, carrying over from the fall collection.
