Once one of Nike’s most popular collaborators, Wotherspoon has now seemingly switched sides to the Swoosh’s rival. He’s apparently working with adidas on an unannounced model that features a sustainability angle and will likely include embroidery and floral print.
“IT’S GOING TO BE A HUGE STEP FORWARD IN SUSTAINABILITY AND A LOT DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN FROM ME IN THE PAST AS FAR AS MATERIALS.”
Neither adidas nor Wotherspoon have let any concrete release details slip, though if the designer is openly talking about the collaboration, an official announcement could be coming soon. Since leaving Nike to explore other options and broaden his design portfolio with other brands, Wotherspoon has been repeatedly seen wearing various adidas sneakers, including the adidas YEEZY Boost 700 V2.
